About Us

Modelworks Software was founded in November 1993 by Chet Murphy in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. Prior to starting Modelworks Software, Chet was a Member of the Technical Staff for The MITRE Corporation.

In September 1999 Modelworks Software moved to Woodinville, Washington. Woodinville is located 5 miles north of Redmond, home of Microsoft.

Product History

JPad 1.0 was released in March 1996 followed by the first release of JPad Pro in September 1996. Scripting was added to JPad and JPad Pro during the fall of 1996. SitePad Pro 1.0 was released in September 1997.

Since JPad 1.0 Modelworks has released over 800 builds to users outside of Modelworks.
