Both JPad Pro and SitePad Pro support editing JSP. JSP features include code folding (outlining), smart indent, syntax coloring, and a source browser. The JSP editor includes syntax coloring and smart indent for java and for embedded scripting languages. To run JSP files in SitePad Pro first install JSP support on a server and then make sure the server is started. Next just save your JSP file to a folder that is accessible by http://localhost/. On IIS save your files to wwwroot. On Apache save your files to htdocs. Then use the Preview to view the results. Clicking on the Preview tab will cause the JSP file to be served. If you do not see a preview tab turn it on using View/Preferences. ![]() Editing JSP with JPad ProOther features include custom menus, custom toolbars, smart keys (key patterns that invoke a script), multifile find and replace, spell checker, project, split windows, background colors, a movable menu bar, movable tool bars, movable workspace panel, movable output panel, optional MDI editor tabs, output panel tabs, support for html based modeless dialogs. Built-in toolbars include a bookmark toolbar, a finder toolbar, command toolbars, source control toolbar, and a document set toolbar. Support is also included for multiple source control systems. In addition to JSP, other file types supported by JPad Pro include java, jad, velocity, c/c++, php, xml, cobol, javascript, perl, vbscript, xml, and html. Custom file types with syntax coloring can be easily added. |
